About
Daan Temmink is an award-nominated composer for film and TV, based in Frome, UK. With a BMus in Jazz Piano and a master’s in Film Scoring, Daan has crafted original music for major brands like Deliveroo, Skoda, Volkswagen, Mulino Bianco, and Cisco, often collaborating with Andrew Lawson at Fieldgate Studios in Cardiff. Together, they frequently hire top musicians from the BBC Orchestra and Welsh National Opera.
In 2021, Daan scored the Amazon Prime series Over Grenzen and De IRT Affaire and was nominated for a Music Production Award for his work on Channel 5’s Coast Guards. His score for The Insides of Our Lives (2024) was selected for the Dutch Golden Calf competition and the Dutch Movies Matter award. He also composed for a TV promo for Italy's Neutro Roberts.
As a session pianist & keyboardist, Daan arranges and records alongside Charlie Jones (Goldfrapp, Robert Plant) and records at Real World Studios. He also performs with Cuban singer Indira Roman, including at Glastonbury Festival.
